- DO NOT REFRIGERATE 

- Remove from the sleeve and place in a glass, cup or small vase and add water. The water level should not exceed the halfway point of the soil cube, about an inch of water.

- Keep basil in an area exposed to sunlight

- Clip leaves at the stem when using for a recipe

- Remove any dry or discolored leaves as they appear
